What is techXchange program?

techXchange is a flagship initiative by FICCI and High Commission of India in UK, intended to build a strong system for nurturing innovation and Startups between India and UK. 'techXchange 2018' was launched by the High Commissioner of India to the UK in June 2018.

techXchange as a programme that aims to promote, encourage and provide exposure to Indian Startups at a global marketplace. The idea is to build a global Startup community by connecting Startups from across India to internationally renowned businessman, investors, decision makers, partners, venture capitalists and more. It also helps the Startup ecosystem stakeholders from India to interact and learn from their counterparts.

What are the dates and location?

The program would be held from 4th March to 8th March, 2024 in the UK.

What is the eligibility?

There are three main criteria for the eligibility:

  • Tech-enabled Startup who has raised initial funds and has a unique product/service
  • Already generating a minimum of INR 1 crore revenue annually
  • Product/Service has a global use case and potential to scale in the UK market
How many people from one team / Startup can participate? And who can participate?

One person per Startup is eligible for the programme. We encourage the founders of the Startups to apply.

How many teams/start-ups will be selected?

10 start-ups will be selected for the programme.

Where can I find the program details?

The program for 2024 is yet to be announced. You can find information about previous cohorts on our website and social media.

Who are the programme partners for techXchange during previous years?

Partner organisations in the UK: Level39, Growth Enabler, Pontaq, City of London, India Inc., British Asian Trust, IIMA Alumni UK.

Can anyone who is not selected participate?

Any Startups who fulfil the qualifying criteria or Startup ecosystem player can participate in the program by paying a certain delegate fee.

What else do I need to give if I get shortlisted?
  • You will have to give a high-resolution photograph,
  • A short profile of the company and Startup (draft shall be shared once selected) in video format
  • Undertaking (draft shall be shared once selected)
What is the last date of registration?

The Startup registration closes on 21st January 2024.

Would techXchange be covering the cost of the program?

techXchange will be covering the cost of hotel (twin-sharing), venue, visits and travel within the UK. Group meals will be covered only where appropriate. Participants will have to borne the visa and flight expense themselves.
